At Crosswinds we call our Youth Group "U-Turn" based on the verse in Acts 3:19: "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord"  Our mission statement as ministry leaders is to teach, and disciple our students and help them grow in their relationships with Christ. And to raise future leaders of the church. To be missionary's outside of the walls of the church. Our Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. during our Life Nights when we have activities for the whole family. This way parents can enjoy their own adult groups while the students meet with their groups and there is also childcare available for their younger brothers and sisters.

This ministry is aimed at our youth (Grade 5 through 12) and provide a great way for your students to make a positive relationship with other students and leaders that can support them through some difficult years of growing up. We have lots of fun doing some crazy activities. Talking about biblical principles that are relevant to their everyday lives. And we also plan some trips and service projects during the summer to give your students new life experiences to help them grow.

We also work to teach the students how to work in volunteer opportunities at the church and outside the church that can help them grow as leaders for the future in God's kingdom.
