Faith That Works!
Ephesians 2:8-10 | Sun, Jul 04, 2021 | Pastor Ken Schultz

Today many who claim to have faith only seem to have wish. The greatest problem Pastor Ken sees in God’s church today is not resources. We have more resources of communication, information, educated people, and freedoms to do things. The problem is we often treat faith more like a wish which is an apathetic and fearful approach that will produce little work of value. Faith must work! It takes determination, persistence, discipline, and strength to hold on to faith.

Go Fish
Luke 9:1-6 | Sun, Jul 11, 2021 | Pastor Ken Schultz

This is fishing or the drawing into God’s kingdom design of love for him, others, and self: If calling Jesus Lord, you are a disciple and following and fishing is what disciples of Jesus do. Everything we do as church should be about those two things. When I disciple someone each week I ask them the accountability questions how is following and how is fishing? You should be asking yourself the same thing each day as His disciple. Am I seeking to love God and put Him first, Am I loving and caring for others, am I caring for myself?

Perplexed
Luke 9:7-9 | Sun, Jul 18, 2021 | Pastor Ken Schultz

There are just two things we need to focus on- following Jesus and "Go Fishing" or encouraging others to follow Jesus. That is what God has called us to do as believers. So we don’t need to be perplexed about our mission. The reality is we can all struggle living this out. The other priorities of life like jobs, family, and recreation can leave us a little perplexed. Our own wants and desires lead us into sins that perplex us. We can become perplexed by fears of what others might think if we really followed closer to Jesus? Could this affect my job? Could this effect some relationships with friends or family, if I attempt to fish and have gospel conversations with them? If we have a conscious there are times we will be perplexed. Today in God’s word we are going to look at man named Herod who was perplexed sometimes in good ways and mostly rebellious ways so that we may learn from both.

More Abundantly Than
Luke 9:10-17 | Sun, Jul 25, 2021 | Pastor Ken Schultz

Jesus had more concern for people than himself. He surrendered his will for the love he had for us and the love he had for his father. God's love is so great so do not stay desolate and shrink in fear. Put your faith in Jesus and follow him. Come and know abundance and everlasting life and live in abundance with him.
