Jesus knows what is true in our hearts. Do not be a hypocrite and judge others. Instead share the Gospel and reflect on how you can continue to share God's love.
The sermon proclaims that “the Word” in John 1 — the Logos — is not an impersonal force but the eternal, divine, personal agent through whom all creation came into being. It asserts that Jesus (the Logos) predates creation, sustains all life, and brings light and purpose to humanity.
Jesus came to start a movement of the Gospel so that we might become the church. But instead, we just come to church. In today's message Pastor Ken shares how we can create a movement of the Gospel in our generation if we will drop the net at Jesus's word. How will you live your life in 2015? By word or by reason? Most people in this world live their lives by their own reason, but the Bible would encourage us to filter every decision through the word of God. If we do that, we will be prosperous and successful in the things we do because the Bible gives a true standard by which we can make our decisions.
This message recaps the final week of the All Hands on Deck series, using Acts 19 where Paul finds disciples in Ephesus, equips them with the fullness of the gospel, and builds a movement that spreads the Word throughout Asia in two years. It challenges believers to know the church’s mission and to live out their faith with intentional disciple-making, not just religious attendance.
The message teaches that Jesus Christ embodies both unmerited grace and absolute truth — not as mere ideas but as the living Word who became flesh.
The incarnation — the Word becoming flesh — reveals God’s astounding love, His willingness to dwell with humanity, and His provision of salvation through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Jesus’ coming in the flesh makes possible our adoption into God’s family, offering eternal life and transforming our identity and purpose in Him.
This message challenges believers to move beyond merely believing in God to truly believing God — trusting His Word, nature, and promises.
