The sixth piece of evidence left by Jesus declaring that He is the Son of God is the uberevidence. The chief of all the evidence that Jesus is God is the “missing evidence” - the empty tomb, the missing body, the physical, bodily resurrection of Jesus from death.

Crime scene investigators can unearth lots of clues from the way a victim dies to understand the time of death, the cause of death, the relationship between the victim and killer, the motive, and the mindset of the victim as he died. In this message, Pastor John looks at the “postmortem” evidence of Jesus’ claim to divinity. His death actually provides very convincing evidence of His identity.

Innocent people sometimes need alibis when they are wrongfully accused or their actions are misunderstood. They need someone to vouch for their actions, whereabouts, or identity. Did Jesus ever say that He was God? Jesus was brought up in a deeply religious culture with a clear viewpoint of God as revealed by His word and miracles. Everything that he said about himself and God was said with an understanding of how it would be interpreted by the people who heard him. Jesus did and said certain things to make it clear that he indeed did believe that He was the Son of God.

The epilogue – the “after story” - is always an interesting part of the story. How did their life turn out? What impact did their words or work or sacrifice ultimately have on those around them? In this message, we look at the impact Jesus had on His followers as strong evidence of His claim to be the Son of God.

What does it mean to be made for more? It does not mean you were made for more stuff, not more power, not more money not more possessions. You were not born primarily for these things. Pastor John Stillman takes a deeper look into Psalm 122 to answer the question what were we made for.
