In today’s message we talk about God’s assurance which is His unshakeable love for us. We often struggle with life because our eyes are on ourselves and our own opinions. Assurance comes in our understanding of the very nature of God.

This message is part of our Series titled: Assurance not Insurance, a study in Romans Chapter 8. We can be assured in life when we don't have our facts straight, when we can't prove our worth, when we don't have the right words to say, God still hears us and He still assures us of His love for us.

The cross of Jesus is often rejected or not liked. There are many people that will accept Jesus only when he speaks of love and fulfill their need of being loved, but do not accept Jesus as an authority over their lives.

We all fail at loving others sometimes. And we we do it is often because of our pride. Price can make us either overconfident in our importance or insecure. For it is when we are worried about whether we are loved that we forget to love others. In this message we look at how the reason for our insecurity can be pride.

Crosswinds is a church where you will be loved and respected. What is needed for any family fundamentally is unity. Being a part of a church family is no different. Pastor Ken's message explores different ways people identify today and how no matter how you identify you will always be welcome in our church and God's heart.

God’s word is full of rules or commands which are boundaries meant to protect our lives and relationships. They are there to protect our relationship with God and our relationship with each other. God did not need to break the rules and He did not need use His authority of Lord over and control others, instead He served and loved people with His authority.
