Today’s message looks at a man Jesus healed whose soul was sick. The virus he suffered with was demonic. Christians need to learn to fight from victory, not for victory in defeating spiritual attack from Satan our enemy.

To have healthy relationships we must have good boundaries. In God's word He has defined where those relational boundaries are for Himself, others, and ourselves. In Today's message we will look at God's plan for relational boundaries that help us live abundant lives.

Jesus heals a man at the pool of Bethesda but before He does he asks a very important question, “Do you want to be healed?” The answer seems obvious but is it? Being well means change in all areas of our lives. We must become physically well, psychologically well, spiritually well, and relationally well to be healed because they are all interconnected. We look for quick fixes but God is looking a complete fix because He recreates all of us and makes us new so we can walk with him.

How do we walk in the liberty Christ has won for us? It is by the spirit that we walk and leave sin behind nailed to the Cross by the power of His love! Because He first loved us, he plants the fruit of love in our hearts. This changes us and our external behavior in a way that the external law never could.

We have liberty by faith in Jesus, not by the works of our flesh, but faith that is sincere works and is powered by His love. We have Liberty to love!

This Memorial Day we remember those who died to give us liberty. They honor Jesus, who died to give us liberty from the law, sin, and death. Liberty is not freedom to do what you want, but freedom to live as God intends us. We can’t do that through the law, only through the liberty He gave us in Christ Jesus.

Religion tries to change us from the outside in, but Jesus changes us from the inside out. As we receive the truth of God’s love expressed in Jesus His son, we are changed. We must keep people in the love of God as we fulfill Jesus commission to make disciples. We are kept in His love and we shepherd and keep others in that unchanging Love.

To obey Jesus’s command, we must go make disciples not converts. To make disciples is to immerse them in the fellowship of the Trinity. In this message, Pastor Ken looks at the fellowship of the immersed church in Acts 2, which brought the fruit of repentance to the very ones that called for Jesus to be crucified.

Jesus asked us to engage the world with the gospel and the job is not finished yet. There 2.6 billion people who have not heard the simple message that Jesus died for their sins, was raised to new life again in 3 days and that faith in Him and what He did will bring them everlasting life. When we look at the empty tomb it should send us running to tell a dying world that there is hope in Jesus.

We all face waves of doubt and winds of fear in our lives. But Jesus will come to us and restore our peace. Our faith may sink but we are never sunk because of the eternal love of our Good Shepherd.
